This involves using a Kensington adapter card, into which a high-speed SD card has been inserted, and plugging this direct into the SxS slot on the camera being used. This is a non-standard solution which many users swear is both affordable and reliable.

Interview with Martin Baker, Founder of Digital Heaven

The force behind Digital Heaven talks about the history of the company, the present, and what's next...

Digital Heaven are the most prolific of the UK plug-in/software creators for Apple's Final Cut Pro. For those wishing to work with film, and match the negative to the edit produced from within Final Cut, this was a formidable challenge. Those at an Los Angeles based edit facility known as DigitalFilm Tree were pioneers who broke through the wall of expensive post production and made film editing using FCP possible. Ramy Katrib, Founder of DigitalFilm Tree, was instrumental in making this happen.
