The company has used AVID as their editing platform along with a host of other compositing and encoding applications. Everything has been done on the PC platform. Now the company has switched from PC to Mac and chosen Final Cut Studio to meet their post-production needs.

It was announced in March of 2008: Avid has merged its Avid Xpress Pro software into its flagship Media Composer software product line and established a new price point of $2,495 for Media Composer software. This represented a significant price reduction in the cost of Media Composer and completely did away with the cheaper versions of the AVID software. What this means in that anyone buying an AVID in today's market is buying a real Media Composer - no cutdown, no half-functioning version - the Media Composer is now where it begins with AVID.
