Death of a Camera

Death of a Camera

It was a very ambitious shoot. A shootout between the new Sony EX1 and the well-established Panasonic HVX-200. Two experienced shooters in a world-class location - high up on a lookout area, overlooking San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. Both shooters jumped into a cab, left the city, crossed the famous bridge and followed a winding road high up into the hills overlooking the Bay area. Out steps the shooters, an insane amount of equipment is unloaded: 4 cameras in all, microphones, tripods, enough gear for a covering wideshot and single shot on either of the shooters as they test the two cameras in one of the world’s most beautiful locations.
